The normal case. Rimward starts with the cameras and recorders already on site and judges each one on what it delivers. Anything it cannot read is reported as unknown, never assumed ready.

### Some of our sites have poor connectivity.

Cloud by default. Where connectivity is limited, an optional local gateway processes video on site.

### A provider already monitors our sites.

Keep your monitoring provider. Authorized operators can review site events and evidence in Rimward.

### What happens when it gets one wrong?

Every alert carries its reason, its confidence and the views it came from. A dismissal is recorded, not deleted, so a wrong call stays visible and reviewable.
