**Rimward · Site assessment** Sample · fictional site

## Site A · 14 ha · 12 MWp

9 cameras · 1 recorder · Remote access over VPN · Day and night views

**Degraded.** The site can raise a usable alert on three sides. The north fence is not covered, and one camera could not be checked.

### Coverage: what the site cannot see

- **North fence · 180 m**Not covered, day or night. The cable trench along the north rows is exposed.

- **Substation**Not checked. The transformer and cable entry have no verified view.

- **East fence after dark**Partly covered. Movement is visible but blurred beyond 60 m.

### What an alert on this site would look like

02:14

#### Person at the inverter station

- Seen by C-03 and C-06, on one timeline

- 38 seconds of footage from each camera

- Raised because a person entered a protected zone at night

Your monitoring team decides: acknowledge, dismiss or escalate.

### What to fix first

In order of impact, for whoever maintains your cameras.

1. **Turn C-05 back toward the north fence** Restores 180 m of coverage.

1. **Switch C-02’s infrared back on** Restores the north-east corner at night.

1. **Send working credentials for C-08** Lets us check the substation.

1. **Clean C-04’s lens at the next visit** Sharpens the west fence beyond 40 m.

These four fixes close the north gap and bring every camera back into use.

Illustrative sample. The site, camera names, lengths and times are invented.
